Version 8 now includes larger map
segments for easier map selection and downloading — so there's
less chance you'll miss an area when planning your next trip!
Version 8 features include:

- Trip and waypoint management feature lets you transfer
waypoints, routes and tracks between your Garmin GPS and

**These functions of this product work with nearly all
Garmin GPS units, excluding the GPS 100 family and panel mount
aviation units.

Unlocking Your Coverage

Before you can download map detail to a data card or
directly to your compatible Garmin GPS, you must “unlock” the
MapSource City Navigator North America v8 DVD. Simply follow
the instructions on the included certificate to unlock the
entire DVD. Next, download the data to a data card or to your
compatible Garmin unit.

MetroGuide®
These CDs are packed with detailed maps to help you navigate
urban areas on your business or vacation travels. Each CD
shows interstates, highways, motorways, thoroughfares,
business and residential streets, and local roads for major
metropolitan areas. All CDs have address lookup capability,
many points of interest and select products provide automatic
route calculation on the PC only (Australia and Canada
excluded).

& Waypoint Manager
This trip planning CD is designed for use with Garmin units
that have no built-in map detail or city point database, such
as the GPS 12, eTrex, eTrex Summit, Geko 201 and Geko 301.
With this simple, affordable CD, you get the benefit of being
able to create waypoints and routes on your PC and then
download them to your unit. You can also transfer waypoints,
routes and tracks from your outing back to your PC for recall
at a later date. You will not be able to download map detail
to any Garmin GPS using this product.

 WorldMap
For areas where Garmin does not offer more detailed coverage,
take a look at the WorldMap CD. You'll get basic worldwide
maps that show political boundaries, cities, major motorways,
highways, lakes, rivers and coastline details. This CD also
provides worldwide nautical navaids.
